I find the following sites to be useful for clients looking for property in this area:

The Jefferson County Assessors Parcel Search Tool is a public site where you can get a wealth of information about any property in the County. Having the Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) is useful but you can also use addresses or just street names. Let me know if you need help to see the aerial photos, sales info or contour maps. When you're ready to meet with County planners let's discuss how to get the most out of your meeting.

The City of Port Townsend website has a map search tool that is very useful. You can see where the water and sewer lines are and see good aerial photos. Use this site when you are investigating property in the City limits.

If you are looking for property in the County the Department of Ecology's Well Log site gives access to information on every well registered in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County website gives access to all County departments. Community Development, Assessor and Environmental Health are probably the most useful when you are looking for property but there is a lot of information available here.

A great map source is Google Maps. Try setting Port Townsend as your default map on this site. These maps are easy to read and simple to navigate. Use the maps to get familiar with the County or the City. Check out the aerial maps. This is a little different than Google Earth. Download Google Earth and you can zoom to an aerial photo of your own house. Or the Eiffel Tower. Or any other place on earth. Two great tools.

There's always a good movie at the Rose Theatre. Check this link for current showings at the Rose.

The PT Guide is a comprehensive website about what's happening in Port Townsend: Also useful is EnjoyPT, the City's site for activities and events.

Need a ferry schedule or want to see what the ferry lines look like? Go to the Washington State Ferries site which usually has ‘ferry cams' online. It also has a link to WSDOT for highway travel information.

The Port Townsend Leader is the local newspaper. Check out The Leader online.

What's the weather like in Port Townsend? Accuweather Forecast will give you today's weather or a longer range forecast.

Centrum is a great local arts organization headquartered at Fort Worden which sponsors events throughout the year.
